A State-of-the-Art Interactive Tracheostomy Trainer
What makes our product such a stand-out tool is how it accurately parallels a patient’s tracheostomy tube and functions in an array of clinical scenarios. The ClearView Tracheostomy Simulator includes the following anatomical features:
- Epiglottis
- 'Functional' speech
- Intubatable Vocal Cords
- Transparent Trachea
- Tracheostomy Stoma
- Bronchial Bifurcation
- 'Functional' Inflatable Lungs
The transparent trachea/stoma can accommodate any brand of tracheostomy tube or endotracheal tube and demonstrate the use of subglottic secretion aspiration. The lungs can also function to either replicate spontaneous breathing or inflate with positive pressure ventilation.
This product can demonstrates the application of a speaking valve. With the tracheostomy cuff deflated and the speaking valve attached, an auditory cue that simulates speech through the vocal cords will sound with exhalation.
A removable chest plate allows direct visualization of the cuff and trachea interface.

Maintenance and Storage
- May be wiped with clean soft cloth, warm water and gentle liquid dish soap. Rinse with water and gentle pat dry with clean towel or allow to air dryDo not use solvents of any kind on the trainer.
- Ensure trainer is completely dry before repackingDo not use abrasive cleaners or pads. In particular the clear trachea is easily scratched
- We recommend only storing the trainer in its original factory packagingAvoid extended compression of the tissues or contact with : instruments, nonstandard packaging or other materials. Doing so may lead to discoloration or permanent impressions in the tissue surface
